Toshiba 10-inch Tablet with Android 2.2

Toshiba builds an iPad competitors. The Folio 100 has a 10.1 inch display, weighs 760 grams and runs on Android 2.2.

Toshiba manager Marco Perino on Thursday showed a prototype at the IFA and announced the start of the production model for the fourth quarter of 2010.

The first will bring to market a 430 € Toshiba expensive version with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 16 GB of internal memory.A UMTS version (530 €) should give it as well. Full-HD video to run smoothly, according to Toshiba and can be transmitted via a docking station to TV.
